Idol Manager Uncensor Patch (v1.0)
A downloadable patch
A basic patch that restores cut content from earlier beta builds of the game, including sexually suggestive/explicit CGs, scenes, dialogues and routes that were cut from the final retail version of Idol Manager in different languages. Only basic, essential changes were made to the scenes' code, meaning all assets and text are 100% original, drawn by the game's official artist.
Comes in two flavors:
- Mild: the softcore, suggestive version of the mod (AKA no nip-nips). Available in English, Japanese, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese and Simplified Chinese
- Spicy: the hardcore, explicit version of the mod (AKA lots of nip-nips). Available in English (included in the main .zip file) and Russian (as standalone dowloads)
The following dialogues are added/changed:
- story_chapter_5_41_rival
- story_chapter_5_42_sexy
- story_chapter_5_43_fake_sex
- story_chapter_5_43_real_sex
- date_conv_30_movies_2
- date_conv_51_cooking
- date_fun_30_cafe
- date_fun_30_home
- date_fun_50_walk
- date_ambition_30_karaoke
- date_ambition_50_roof

Known Issues:
- 16:10 versions of Spicy CGs are missing. As a result, a black screen will be shown to the player instead of the actual illustration. Playing on a 16:9 resolution or using the Mild version of the patch should fix the issue.
This patch is compatible with every version of Idol Manager, and should not have any sort of compatibility issues with other existing mods.
The makers of this mod are not affiliated to Idol Manager, Glitch Pitch or PLAYISM. All used assets were simply extracted from unreleased, non-public builds of the game used exclusively for testing, and repurposed as a patch/mod. All rights belong to their respective owners.
Reuploading and/or modifying this patch's files without permission is strictly forbidden. If you wish to translate dialogues or make other changes to the mod, please leave a comment and I'll reply as soon as possible. This mod was not made available on Steam Workshop due to Steam's policies regarding NSFW content, so please don't ask for a Workshop version.

Can not download Spicy Japanese version. If the original file remains, I want you to re-upload it.
Unfortunately, the file has been deleted by the user who made the translation, and I don't have it available for reupload.
I stopped keeping up with this game a while ago, but didn't the devs say they would've released the mature content themselves?
Also there is a version of your mod on the Steam workshop but I'm not sure if it's legit or up to date.
They planned to add it to the game themselves initially, but due to strict age ratings and a possible ban from selling the game in specific territories due to that NSFW content, they had to tone it down for the full release.
As for the version available on Steam: I wasn't the one who made it or uploaded it, and haven't tried it either. Use it at your own discretion.

I've been having a bit of a problem trying to install the mod, not sure if it's because of steam but when i go through appdata there is no LocalLow file. I did try searching for Glitch Pitch but that didn't show up either, only Idol Manager which lead me back to the steamapps folder.
I tried following the previous comments as best as i could but to no avail. I made a mods folder in IM_Data\StreamingAssets and inserted uncensor_en_x into the mods folder but it didn't show when i opened the game and hit f7 5 to 6 times. This is the first time i download a mod outside of steam so it's a little confusing haha.

Is your OS set to display hidden items? Your LocalLow folder could be hidden due to Window hiding certain system folders and files by default.
Additionally, please make sure you're accessing the correct user's AppData folder (as in the user that's originally installed the game via Steam).
If none of that works for you, please let me know. You could also try following these troubleshooting methods in order to get to your LocalLow folder :)

I install the mod, but i don't see the R18 in the Options and no in the Mod-Menü? I have the steam-version
Please make sure you've extracted the desired patch's folder to the game's "mods" folder (instead of extracting the loose files from its folder into "mods" directly), so its path should look something like AppData\LocalLow\Glitch Pitch\Idol Manager\Mods\uncensor_ru_x if you were to download and install the Russian Spicy version of the patch, for example.
Have you tried installing any other non-Steam mods to your game, such as my own IM:SOOF pack, or this other mod? Do they work appropriately?
Both versions of the mod (mild English + spicy English) display a white screen while playing the CG on Linux. Is there any way to run it properly? The added text works perfectly otherwise.
I've had confirmation from the devs about the correct folder strutcture for mod installation on Mac and Windows, but not on Linux, unfortunately. Since my first suggestion would be to make sure the mod folder is in the correct directory, I'm gonna have to trust you there.
There's no way for me to test my mod on an OS other than Windows either, so perhaps your best bet for now would be to download one of the reuploads of the patch some users have made on Steam Workshop and see if that version works properly for you - as ironic as that may sound.
i can't use the spicy mod en, what happen? when i enable it, it didn't come out, but after i put the mild mod en ( an other ) the langues change to russia, any help?
Hi there, sorry for the late reply.
Could there be a conflict between different mods you have installed? Perhaps between different versions of the IMUP patch? Try deactivating all of your mods via Mods menu except for EN Mild version and see if if works.
If it doesn't, let me know and I'll try to walk you through the step-by-steps to see if there's any sort of issue with your installation.
Getting white instead of the CG. On 16:10 resolution, using mild version.
Did it only happen while playing through that specific dialogue, or has it happened in other occasions? English version?
All the CGs, except for the table one, in that scene show up as white. Not sure about other scenarios.
And yeah, the English version.

Alright, so I tested it a bit more, except for the table one, none of them show up.
Though I do believe it's a bug from the Mac version of the game because it shows up on Windows, and the sample mod provided on steam have the same results.

Spicy English Version Patch? Is it just me or do I just see what I assume to be one Mild and two Spicy but only in Russian and Japanese version? Is the English version WIW?
Japanese and Russian downloads are standalone spicy versions of the patch. English Spicy version comes with the main file. I'll update the description and make that clearer.

How do i know if its working? I dont know what to do to see the scenes
You can use the debug menu in order to manually trigger them (Press F7 five times in order to activate cheats and then the ' or ~ key to open the dialogues menu). Then, find one of the scenes the mod uncensors and click on it. If you emet its requirements, it'll trigger successfully and you'll be able to determine whether the mod is working or not.
If you can't find the modified scenes in the '/~ menu, press F7 a sixth time to bring up the debug menu and look for one of the scenes on the list.

Have you tried manually replacing the files within the Mild version folder with the files for the Spicy patch?
Using Spicy but no spicy scenes seem to be playing, I did get the option to go home and have innuendo about tumbling in the sheets but nothing other than that. I added the mod midway, does that affect anything? IT even says "You are faithful to your wife."
Is your game running on a 16:10 ratio instead of 16:9? 16:10 resolutions are only supported in Mild versions of the mod currently.
It's safe to enable this mod mid-game or I need to start a new game to avoid corruption of a save file?
You can enable it in your current save game, shouldn't cause any issues.

so ive buy idol manager on steam but i cant seem to put your mods in. ive tried creating "mods" folder but the game not readiing the mods. also i dont install the game on drive c but on drive d so the guide is confusing me a lil bit
Did you create the 'Mods' folder in AppData\LocalLow\Glitch Pitch\Idol Manager? It shouldn't matter on which drive you actually install the game, that folder will always be on the same place.
I can't find the locallow and glitch pitch file. There's only appdata\local. i don't know whats wrong with my pc 😂

Ive tried unhiding files but theres only local file in the appdata. I don't know what to do anymore, i think imma give up. Im just gonna play it without mods or with mods from workshop. Thx for replying man

Does your LocalLow directory contain a Glitch Pitch\Idol Manager folder? If it does, and all you're missing is a 'Mods' folder, try creating it manually, pasting the patch's folder inside of it and testing it out.
How do we install the mod if we’re using steam?
Same procedure as non-Steam version, as described in the install instructions.
Sorry, I’m not really familiar with installing mods, what folder am I suppose to paste it into when I’m trying to add it as a steam mod?
Theoretically, it should be one of these:
Windows: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\LocalLow\Glitch Pitch\Idol Manager\Mods
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Glitch Pitch/Idol Manager/Mods/ or ~/Library/Application Support/unity.Glitch Pitch.Idol Manager/Mods/
There’s no mod folder for the steam version except for the workshop which doesn’t work
If you don't have a Mods folder in one of those directories, you can try creating one manually and pasting the patch's folder there.
The adult scenes are all blank screens for me, the dialogue works but its just pitch black
That happens when you use the Spicy version and you're running the game on a 16:10 aspect ratio. I'll see if I can find a way tk add those versions of the explicit to the CGs to the spicy version, but, for now, either playing with the Mild version of the mod or using a 16:9 resolution should fix the issue.

Just a heads up, some CG (date event CGs for example) are missing their 16:10 counterparts and if you are playing the game with this aspect ratio, no CG will be shown and you will be presented with a black screen.
Found this out when going through the date_ambition_30_karaoke event while in a 16:10 aspect ratio (and then digging through the mods files), and I'm sure it's true with other events CGs that don't have their 16:10 counterparts.
**(Correction Spicy Flavor is missing some 16:10 CG, while the Mild is fine)
Didn't play previous builds (other than the steam demo) so I don't know if they were also missing, but chances are (since it was cut from 1.0) they were probably were.
No problems with 16:9; it's the default aspect ratio anyways.

Hey don't worry too much about it, just making it aware to others so they know of whats going on so they aren't questioning if the patch is working or not like I was.
By original, do you mean you made the CGs yourself?

You are able to install it and use it like any other mod. You just have to do it manually instead of via the Worshop.
