Chapter 2 release date postponed, Steam Workshop support and other tidbits

Hello, fellow managers.

I just wanted to share a quick update with you guys about IM:SOOF's Chapter 2. A little over a month ago, I published an announcement post featuring, among other details, a planned release window for the second phase of the mod during July of 2021. During these last 30+ days, however, Chapter 2's main susbtory has massively grown in scope, meaning more dialogues had to be written and more time had to be spent on the development of the second chapter.

In addition to that, a few days ago, the developers behind Idol Manager officially announced that the game will feature full Steam Workshop support on release. Naturally, IM:SOOF will be available on Steam Workshop as soon as possible, although I'm not really sure when that would be, since I first have to wait until the game comes out, and then get to grips with how the workshop functions.

The good thing is that, in practice, that should make installing and updating IM:SOOF much easier for the players. The bad thing is that I intend to successfully port Chapter 1 of the mod to Steam Workshop before adding Chapter 2's planned content, which is another reason for the unfortunate, but necessary delay to the release of the second chapter.

It is also worth mentioning that, for the time being, IM:SOOF will still be available on itch.io, and you'll still be able to support it if you wish to do so, with full rewards and entitlements!

Last, but not least: here's an updated version of IM:SOOF's roadmap for 2021 (and now 2022), which accounts for the changes that have been made under the hood to the mod's planned content and for the postponement of Chapter 2.
